African animals roaming in their natural habitat is beyond fascinating!

Giraffes are some of my favorites…so graceful and mysterious in a way.  Spotted this one on the way to the Nile River!june 20

  1. Hannah, that’s an awesome shot! Just wanted you to know that I’m praying for you and trust you are having a really close time with the one who made such a weird looking animal, (the giraffe not you:).

  2. Yeah, Mr. giraffe, what are you looking at??? Loving checking into your pictorial album of Uganda! Stay focused and enjoy any serene time you can squeeze from teaching your sweet subjects….Love and many (((HUGS))) Aunt Bobbie

    1. Hey Megan! I know! Aren’t giraffes gorgeous?! They’re so graceful in the way they walk, it’s almost like they’re dancers :). It wasn’t very often that we’d see giraffes. They do live unconstrained in the wild, though they weren’t in the region where I served this summer. I saw this one along the Nile River when we took a day trip to rest, and then saw them again right before returning home.

I'd love to hear from you!
