Yeah I know that this is really random…but I just went back and found these pictures of the piglets born at the Refuge Center this summer and they are SO cute!  Remember I promised pictures of them way back when?  Better late than never, right?

  1. Oh they’re so **cute!!** 🙂 The little smiling piggy – so adorable! 🙂 Do they raise a lot of pigs there? We have a couple pigs at our place, but they’re pretty big now. (I think they’re still cute though! 🙂

Have a blessed day, Hannah! Merry Christmas! May God bless you!

    1. Hey Martha Joy! I’d say the Ugandans raise a fair amount of pigs over there…all throughout town you’d see little pork joints to get barbecue 😉 . At the Refuge Center Piggery the women have been trained to raise the animals so that when they graduate from the program after a year they can take a sow with them to get established in business.

Merry Christmas to you, too! One of these days our families will get together…we’re only like 3 hours apart!

      1. Hello Hannah! Thank you so much for writing me back! 🙂 That is really neat – how they train the ladies and then give them a pig for their own business!

Hope y’all are having a lovely holiday season! 🙂 Do y’all plan to go caroling this year? 🙂 That would be so neat to meet you and your family!! I know – it’s not *that* far in a way! 🙂 Lord willing, maybe *someday* we can plan *something* together! 🙂

May God bless you, dear! Sending a hug. ♥
        Love you,
