brother Myron

june 24

Our dear friend Myron West has passed on from this earth to be with His Savior.

We praise God for the life of surrender, devotion and service Myron lived and are thankful for the opportunity to know this incredible man.

Please continue to pray for peace and understanding over Holly, Ryan and Rachel, and for Myron’s parents and other family members and friends.

Pray for Myron’s Acholi family who loves him so deeply. If Myron hadn’t been obedient to the Lord’s calling on his life, many of these people out here in the bush of Uganda would have never heard the name of Jesus.

Our hearts ache so much because we will miss Myron’s presence, his leadership, and his friendship. But we don’t grieve as those without hope. We have joy that Myron is still living today. He is experiencing the eternal glory of Jesus Christ in a way that none of us can comprehend here on earth.

Thank you, Jesus.  We love you and thank you for your servant, Myron.

  1. Oh, Hannah! I SO hated to hear this tragic news! I had hoped SO much that God would see fit to heal Myron and leave him here with his family and spare them this grief. Their loss is Heaven’s gain, and great is his reward. What a shining testimony he left behind, and though it is impossible to understand, and though it seems so premature, we know he has won his crown. In times like these, when we cannot understand God’s logic, we must trust His wisdom. This makes me so sad. I prayed so hard, as I know many others did, also. Sending you my deepest sympathy and condolences. So very sorry.

  2. Praying for you sweet Hannah….We are joining you in prayer for Myron’s family and your team on the ground. I rejoice that Myron is with his Heavenly Father, whole and resting at the feet of Jesus!

  3. Hannah, I am praying for Myron’s family as they go through this difficult time. I love what you said that “we don’t grieve as those without hope”. What reassurance! That scripture is most certainly a comfort to all who are so heartbroken today. This home is temporary, for sure! I’m thinking of you everyday and lifting your name before our God. Be strong and of good courage!

  4. Prayers for God’s peace for all who knew and loved Myron. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

I'd love to hear from you!
